Itinerary Program

  • Day 1: Depart Bishkek in the morning (~80 km drive, 1.5–2 hrs) to Kegeti Gorge. Begin the 7 km hike through pine forests and rocky trails. Pass Jailoo Kol Tor, a summer pasture used by local shepherds.

  • Reach Kol Tor Lake after 3.5–4 hours of trekking. Relax by the turquoise water. Optional picnic or tea near the shore.

  • Time for photos, birdwatching, or a short ridge hike to explore different angles of the lake.
