Itinerary
1 DAY: Bishkek - Karakol
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BISHKEK to ISSYK-KUL to KARAKOL
Arrival at Manas International Airport.
Meet your private guide and begin the journey toward eastern Kyrgyzstan.
Drive through the Boom Gorge and continue toward Lake Issyk-Kul.
During winter, the lake and surrounding mountains create dramatic views of snow-covered Tien Shan peaks.
Continue to Karakol.
Arrival and hotel check-in.
In the evening, your guide will provide a briefing about the ski program, equipment rental and weather conditions for the following days.
Enjoy a traditional Kyrgyz dinner.

2 DAY: Karakol Ski Resort
DAY 2: KARAKOL SKI BASE – FIRST SKI DAY
- After breakfast, transfer approximately 7 km from Karakol to the Karakol Ski Base.
- Begin your first day on the slopes.
- For beginners, arrange a professional ski or snowboard lesson.
- Intermediate skiers can start exploring the prepared runs.
- The resort has runs ranging from shorter slopes to longer descents, with much of the terrain passing through coniferous forest.

DAY 3: FULL DAY SKIING AT KARAKOL
- After breakfast, return to the ski base for a full day on the mountain.
- Today is dedicated primarily to skiing or snowboarding.
- The resort reaches approximately 3,040 m and has a vertical difference of around 740 m.

Ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers.
Forest Skiing
Many runs pass through the surrounding coniferous forest.
Powder / Freeride

DAY 4: WINTER JETI-OGUZ & KARAKOL CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
- Today take a break from skiing and discover the winter landscapes around Karakol.
- Drive toward Jeti-Oguz Valley.
- In winter, the famous red rock formations contrast dramatically with the surrounding snow-covered mountains and forests.
- Take an easy winter walk around the lower valley, depending on road and snow conditions.
- Return to Karakol.
- In the afternoon, explore the city.
Visit selected cultural landmarks such as:
- Dungan Mosque
- Holy Trinity Cathedral
- Local market
- Traditional food areas
Karakol is particularly interesting culturally because of its mixture of Kyrgyz, Dungan, Russian and other regional influences.

Use the final ski session to explore favorite slopes and enjoy the mountain views.
OPTION B — WINTER ADVENTURE
For non-skiers or guests who want a rest day:
Travel toward the Issyk-Kul shoreline.

- Arrive in Bishkek according to flight schedule.

Karakol Ski Base is the central ski destination of the itinerary. The resort is located around 7 km from Karakol at approximately 2,300 m, with the ski area reaching about 3,040 m. It has more than 20 km of runs and several chairlifts.
