Day 1: Arrival In Bishkek & Introduction To Kyrgyz Culture

Day 2: Burana Tower & Kyrgyz Village Life To Kochkor

After breakfast, drive east toward the Chuy Valley.

Visit the historic Burana Tower, one of the most recognizable remains of the medieval Silk Road in northern Kyrgyzstan.

Continue toward Kochkor.

Along the way, visit a local village and experience everyday rural life.

In Kochkor, visit a traditional handicraft workshop where local artisans demonstrate how wool is transformed into felt carpets and other handmade products.

Day 3: Kochkor To Song-kul: Into The Nomadic World

Today travel from Kochkor toward Song-Kul Lake.

The road climbs into the high mountain pastures known as jailoo.

During summer, shepherd families move their livestock to these pastures and live in traditional yurts.

Upon arrival, settle into a traditional yurt camp.

Enjoy a home-style lunch and meet local hosts.
