Introduction to Yukhin Peak
Yukhin Peak, standing at 5,130 meters, is nestled in the northern ridges of Lenin Peak in the Pamir Mountains of Kyrgyzstan. This expedition offers a unique opportunity to summit a 5,000-meter peak without the need for advanced technical skills. The route is straightforward, making it an excellent choice for those new to high-altitude climbing.
Base Camp and Acclimatization
The journey begins in Osh, followed by a transfer to Achik-Tash Base Camp at 3,600 meters. Here, climbers undergo acclimatization hikes to prepare their bodies for the higher altitudes. The base camp provides essential facilities, including tents, meals, and guidance from experienced mountaineers.
The Ascent
