one of the most important archaeological sights on the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. Located just outside <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cholpon-Ata<\/span>, the site preserves ancient rock carvings together with stone circles, burial features, balbals, and other archaeological remains spread across a large open landscape.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The petroglyphs depict animals, hunters, riders, ritual scenes, and other figures carved into darkened granite and granitoid boulders.
