Located in the center of the capital near Ala-Too Square, the museum presents the history and cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan from ancient times through the medieval period, the Soviet era and the independent republic.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The museum was founded in 1925 and opened to visitors in 1927.
