Located southwest of Naryn on the road toward the Torugart Pass and China, the village is an important stopping point for travelers heading toward Tash Rabat, Koshoy-Korgon, Chatyr-Kul and the high mountain landscapes of southern Naryn.<\/p><p>Surrounded by the At-Bashy and Baybiche-Too mountain ranges, the village lies in a broad high-altitude valley shaped by the At-Bashy and Kara-Koyun rivers.
