Itinerary Program
Day 1: Depart Bishkek in the morning (~80 km drive, 1.5–2 hrs) to Kegeti Gorge. Begin the 7 km hike through pine forests and rocky trails. Pass Jailoo Kol Tor, a summer pasture used by local shepherds.
Reach Kol Tor Lake after 3.5–4 hours of trekking. Relax by the turquoise water. Optional picnic or tea near the shore.
Time for photos, birdwatching, or a short ridge hike to explore different angles of the lake.
